Distribution schedule

Teosto distributes royalties to rightholders five times a year:

June

  • Performing right royalties from national radio and television stations, Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle's local radios, movie theaters, concerts, other events and background music for performances during the previous year.
  • Performing right royalties from commercial radio stations and major concerts for performances during the previous year between July 1st and December 31st.
  • Performing right royalties received from abroad.
  • Mechanical right royalties for the previous year between July 1st and December 31st.
  • Royalties from online area.
September
  • Royalties from online area.
October
  • Performing right royalties received from abroad.
December
  • Performing right royalties received from abroad.
  • Performing right royalties from commercial radio stations and major concerts for performances between January 1st and June 30th.
  • Mechanical right royalties between January 1st and June 30th.
  • Royalties from online area.
  • Private Copying compensation.
March
  • Royalties from online area.
