For music publishers
A music publisher can join Teosto if music publishing is a part of the publisher's regular activity.
According to the Finnish Copyright Act and Teosto's membership agreement, a music publisher is a person or organization to whom a music author has by a publishing agreement conveyed the right to copy and publish a work. The music publisher takes care of the commercial distribution of the music, makes the music available for the public.

Membership agreement
- The membership agreement covers all works and arrangements, and related lyrics and translations published by the music publisher.
- The agreement comes into force after Teosto has received the signed agreement copies and after the publisher has paid the membership fee of 369 Euros (23% VAT included). There are no other costs of the membership.
- The agreement can be terminated at any time. It is, however, in force till the end of the calendar year when it is terminated. The membership fee is not refunded.
