Ordinary membership

Teosto's members can apply for ordinary membership. An ordinary member has the right to attend Teosto's Annual General Meetings and be part of the decision-making process. An ordinary member can also be elected to Teosto's Board of Directors. The rights and rules of membership and ordinary membership are otherwise the same.

Teosto has 700 ordinary members. Among others, the following professional organizations are also member of Teosto: the Society of Finnish Composers, Finnish Composers and Lyric Writers ELVIS Organization, Finnish Music Publishers' Association and the Union of Finnish Writers.

How to apply for ordinary membership?
Music authors or publishers can apply for ordinary membership if

• They have been a member for at least four years
• They have received distributions for at least two distribution periods
• They fulfill the other ordinary membership criteria stated in Teosto's statutes
