Organization

Finnish music authors and publishers founded Teosto in 1928 to manage their rights. Teosto's Annual General Meeting convenes twice a year and it has the supreme decision-making power in Teosto. All ordinary members are eligible to attend the annual meetings.

Everyday operations and management are the responsibility of the Board of Directors elected by the Annual General Meeting. The Board consists of representatives of composers, lyric writers and music publishers.

Teosto's CEO is Katri Sipilä. Teosto employs 90 people.
