You always need the permission of the rightholder to record copyrighted music (TV, radio, Internet).
Pre-existing music
If pre-existing music is used in an ad, permission must always be sought from the rightholder, who will also determine the fee.

When a Teosto customer is commissioned to write music for an ad, Teosto charges a mechanical reproduction royalty according to the intended use.
