The prize was awarded to Sebastian Fagerlund for his orchestral work Ignite, to Chisu for the works on album Vapaa ja yksin, and to Wimme Saari, Tapani Rinne and Tuomas Norvio for the works on album Mun. The award sum of 40,000 euros was divided between the three works equally.
The prize was awarded to Magnus Lindberg's work Graffiti and to the compositions, lyrics and arrangements by Jori Sjöroos, Paula Vesala and Mira Luoti in the group PMMP's album Veden varaan.
The prize of 40,000 euros was awarded to Finnish rap artist Asa and the team, for works on the album Loppuasukas.
The two winning works among seven candidates were the music and lyrics of Jonna Tervomaa and the music of Jussi Jaakonaho on Tervomaa's album Parempi loppu as well as the music of Olli Kortekangas on his opera Isän tyttö (Daddy's Girl). Kortekangas's share of the prize was 20,000 euro, while Tervomaa and Jaakonaho received 10,000 euro respectively.
