Teosto at Tallinn Music Week starting 9 April 2026
Teosto will be present at Tallinn Music Week, which runs from 9 to 12 April. Join us for a panel discussing going global from small markets or come hear what Finland has to offer in our joint showcase evening with Music Finland.
Tallinn Music Week is a showcase festival and professional event in the music industry held since 2009. More than 700 delegates are heading for Tallinn, from publishers to copyright organisations, songwriters to festival promoters.
TMW is both a showcase festival and a professional conference. Teosto will be present in both facets of the event.
A panel organised by Teosto examines the importance of going international for songwriters and publishers in small markets
On Friday, 10 April at 1:30pm, the Tallinn Music Week Conference will discuss the international opportunities presented to songwriters and publishers emerging from small markets.
The panelSmall Markets, Big Opportunities: Generating Royalties Beyond Borders, moderated by Teosto’s International Manager Helmi Yli-Äyhö, will feature producer-songwriter Lauri Mäntynen, CEO of the Estonian Copyright Association EAÜ Mati Kaalep, pianist-composer Kristjan Randalu and publisher Henrik Tala (HMC / Song Asia).
The panel will offer insights based on copyright collections data, practical experiences of going international from the perspective of both songwriters and publishers as well as best practices for building sustainable success.
WTF – Welcome to Finland showcase evening in cooperation with Music Finland 9 April
Before the conference kicks off, there will be a chance to enjoy Finnish music in Tallinn, as six incredible Finnish artists will perform in the WTF – Welcome to Finland showcase presented by Music Finland and Teosto.
The evening starts at F-hoone Black Hall at 7pm, and taking to the stage are Goldielocks, Tinyhawk & Bizzarro, Hildá Länsman & Tuomas Norvio, Emilia Sisco, Misha and Muovipussi, showcasing Finland’s hottest new sounds.
