The new AI-related category of rights makes it possible for our members to remove the category of rights concerning AI use from Teosto’s administration with a single selection. The removal of the category of rights from Teosto’s administration can be carried out by using a form that will be available on Teosto’s web service starting from 17 August 2026. After the removal, the works will no longer be included in Teosto’s future licensing deals concerning AI use. This means that the works will be subject to the rightholder’s self-administration with regard to AI use, and the rightholder must personally see to agreements concerning the use of the works and the protection of the rights.
