GT Music Licences Ltd starts operating fully in January 2017

GT Music Licences Ltd, a joint venture founded by Gramex and Teosto, starts operating fully on Monday 2nd of January 2017. The new company will handle sales, marketing, billing and customer service of  Gramex’s and Teosto’s background music licences and serve approx. 30,000 background music using customers in Finland.

The objective of the new company to increase license certainty and easiness for customers by providing a one-stop-shop for obtaining both Gramex and Teosto licences needed for playing background music in businesses.

GT Musiikkiluvat Oy will open a new e-shop Musiikkiluvat.fi for selling licences by the end of January 2017. Until the e-shop opens music using customers are served through a call center and by field representatives.

Teosto continues to handle all licencing matters regarding music usage in events (gigs, concerts, festivals, karaoke etc.), broadcasting and online.
