Teijamari Jyrkkiö appointed Director of the Teosto Cultural Foundation

Teijamari Jyrkkiö, LL.M., M.A. has been appointed Director of the Teosto Cultural Foundation as of 6 May 2025.
Teijamari Jyrkkiö, LL.M., M.A., is an expert in the field of Finnish culture with extensive experience in management at various museums and foundations. She has held positions in research, development and leadership, among others, at the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, HAM Helsinki Art Museum and Amos Rex.
Jyrkkiö has served as the Secretary General at the Teosto Cultural Foundation since 25 November 2024. In her new role as Director of the Foundation, she will continue to build, develop and establish the structures, funding practices and other activities of the Foundation.

The Teosto Cultural Foundation began its operation in 2024 with the mission to support Finnish creative composing and its operating conditions.
