Domestic authors and publishers receive 5.7 million euros

On December 14, Teosto paid performing right royalties to Finnish composers, lyric writers, arrangers and music publishers in the amount of 5.7 million euros.
The distribution includes royalties from performances on commercial radio stations, in major concerts and for performances abroad. The distribution also consists of compensation for private copying, public lending compensation and mechanical right royalties collected by the Nordisk Copyright Bureau (NCB).
All members who have received distribution can browse their personal distribution details with Teosto’s web service.
The next distribution will be paid in June 2013.
