Eur 16.0 million paid to Finnish rightholders in June distribution

18.06.2013

Payments to domestic rightholders in this year’s June distribution consist of:

  • Performing right royalties collected in Finland: EUR 12.4 million. These royalties mainly concern performances in 2012. Payments from commercial radio and major concerts were accrued during the second half of the year only, as the corresponding royalties for the first half were already distributed in December 2012.
  • Royalties for the performance of Finnish authors’ works abroad: EUR 1 million. The June distribution includes royalties paid to Teosto by sister organisations between November 2012 and March 2013.
  • Online and mechanical reproduction royalties collected by NCB: EUR 2.6 million.

Of the performing rights royalties collected in Finland, Teosto is paying out EUR 20.3 million to foreign rightholders.

All members who have received distribution can browse their personal distribution details with Teosto’s web service.
